Learning Links

At Dunning Primary, we strive to live by our values of being respectful, responsible, honest, fair and kind in everything we do.

Each term, we share Learning Links to keep parents and carers informed about what their children will be learning. These overviews highlight the key skills, knowledge, and experiences pupils will engage in across the curriculum.

We will continue to build strong foundations in literacy and numeracy, while encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration through interdisciplinary projects. Children will also develop important skills in health and wellbeing, exploring resilience, teamwork, and positive relationships.

Across subjects such as science, social studies, expressive arts, and technologies, pupils will have opportunities to investigate, create, and share their ideas in ways that make learning enjoyable and relevant to real life.

Our aim is to nurture confident, curious learners who feel safe, included, and ready to achieve their very best. We look forward to working together with families to support and celebrate every child’s progress this term.
